Notes: This is actually a redux of an artwork I first created in 2011 as a prequel to my later recreated artwork, Last Moments. Here we see the elder Caesar promising Cleopatra everything she’s ever wanted as she dreams of a powerful future that will never be. I tried to make her look more focused on what he’s promising her while he is more focused on wanting her; if that makes sense.

Cleopatra looks ahead to a wondrous future as Caesar promises her the world. They both lust for more power.
